WHO ARE FACTOR 50?
OUR STORY
After forming in Falmouth in 2019, the band quickly picked up traction in the town’s thriving music scene, regularly picking up slots at local venues and around the South West.
In 2022, Factor 50 packed up their bindles and headed to Bristol - AKA “THE MEDIUM SMOKE”
In 2023, Henri and Florence joined the merry band. With all new material and much cleaner boiler suits, Factor 50 were reborn, ready to tackle the venues of Bristol right out of the womb.
MEET THE BAND
Eddie Akers
Our fearless frontman, Edison Akers, is responsible for lead vocals, guitar and songwriting aboard the ship. With his signature impressive height and moustache, you will find him working every side hustle in Bristol and shaking his head like a dog on stage.
Tom Oliver
Long blonde hair, angelic aura and a man serious about this business, Thomas Oliver is chief executive guitar and saxophone player. A vital crew member, Tom is currently hard at work producing album 2. Don’t disturb him please.
Zach Kendall
Ooooooh, what’s that groove? That would be Zachary Kendall on the bass and trumpet. Born to play in a funk band, forced to play in Factor 50. On stage, you’ll find Zach flinging his trumpet away just in time for a fat bassline to radiate into the crowd. Off stage, he’s probably at the pub.
Henri Swinton Stott
Henri’s the name, beats are the game. The beating engine of the Factor 50 ship, drummer Henri Swinton Scott is a master of his craft. When he’s not in Portugal or London or Falmouth or anywhere else in the world, you’ll hear him in the distance, practising his drums in a respectful but passionate fashion.
Florence Stirrup
If you take a left into the synth station, you’ll find Flo, master of keys and backing vocals. Whether they are tinkling the ivories, laying down a synth line or perfectly complimenting Eddie’s yells with their soft tones, you can always rely on Florence.
